To be keen on smb [təbiˈkinanˈsambədɪ] — to be very interested — увлекаться кем-то (или чем-то)
She’s so keen on the actor from her favorite movie.
Vertigo [ˈvɚtəgou] — the feeling of spinning around and being unable to balance — головокружение
She was so afraid of hight that she had vertigo.
Bewildered [bɪˈwɪldɚd] — confused and uncertain — сбитый с толку
Susan was bewildered by his sudden actions.
Stale [steɪl] — no longer new or fresh, usually as a result of being kept for too long — старый, зачерствевший

On the verge of (doing) something [anðɪˈvɚdʒəfˌduɪŋsəmθiŋ] — very close to experiencing something — на грани сделать что-то
