Spring is in the air! April is my favorite spring month: there is no snow, warm weather and the sun is waking you up at 6a.m. I let myself to loosen up for a while. I liked going for a walk after classes, and also I tried to drive a scooter for the first time! It was awesome.
Studying. For me it was the month of team work.
In April we had our Accent project with sophomores! I worked with Ivan, he is a nice and intelligent guy. We’ve worked 5 weeks and it was quite easy and entertaining! Especially singing songs of my favorite singer Lana Del Rey ^_^
The brightest event — the first big offline event of our chair in covid-19 times — Phonetics contest. American Accent contest :) It was a bit sloppy, we all were stressed out, because we were not prepared for 100% (there’s never enough time!), but we worked as a team. Dream team! I liked the way we solved the little problems all together very quickly and without pain in the neck. We chose dances, songs, plays, prizes… We did a great work!
The last week of April was the most tough for me: hello, I still can not deal with my time and do the tasks quickly. I found out that I feel anxious when my plans are messed up. It’s hard to stop postpone homework because I can not do it perfect. And to my surprise, when I finally do the task, I spend little time on working and it is easy and interesting. Still don’t know how to fix my brains…
The midterms were really exhausting. I’m glad that now we can have a breather :)
