All hours are equal, but some hours are more equal than others.

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I posted something in Medium. Today I’d like to talk about my important hours.

I know for sure that I’m not an early bird. I can not function properly, I can not eat, and I feel a strong desire to come back to bed. True story, I tried to wake up early on weekends, I got out the bed, looked at the clock and did something, but then (even after a cup of coffee) I lay down and fell asleep. Then I decided not to torture myself anymore.

It’s comfortable for me to wake up at 10 am-11 am and stay up until 1 am. Maybe I’m a night owl. I like studying late, because nobody is disturbing me — this is the most important condition.

During the day I am mostly productive after noon, until 6 pm. Then I usually take a long break from work, cook dinner or go for a walk. At 9 pm or so I continue the tasks I have to do steadily, without rush. I put on my headphones without turning the music on. It allows me to concentrate.

Sometimes I’m not productive at all, sometimes I do all the tasks at the snap of a finger.

‘Cause I’m only human after all :)
