I enjoy watching plays, though I go to the theater once a year. It became our family tradition four years ago: I give my parents and grandma tickets as Christmas presents, and in the end of January we attend Ostrovsky Drama Theater together.
I’ve been to fairy tales (when i was a kid) and to classic drama performances a few times. Oh, and once I’ve been to musical at the academic theater in the Univesity. It was the first time I’ve watched a musical and I was quite impressed! It was «Mamma Mia!» and those who knew the lyrics in Russian sang along. I loved the costumes most of all, and the songs were impressive.Though the production wasn’t professional, it was brilliantly organized!
I guess I’m not a fan of theater yet. I didn’t have much choice what to watch on stage and I’ve never watched plays online (until now! I’ve watched the whole musical «Les Miserables»), so I can not really say what is my favorite genre or theater. I am willing to find it out!
