The thing I like about Russian language — it has polysemantic words. “Дом” includes concepts of house and home together. There is a clear difference between house as a building and home as a state of mind in English. You can not call home any house, but one special place where you feel safe and sound, and where your favorite people wait for you. You can move to another place, beautiful and cozy, but if you don’t bring love with you, this place will not become home.

Lately I’ve done the online English level test. The results were quite surprising! There were not many tasks, so maybe the test is not precise. And also the listening part was very British :) According to the test, my level of English is C1.
